PCXLIFE
v1.1
(c) Kevin Solway, 1994
PO Box 207
St Lucia 4067
Australia
This program converts .PCX format graphics files into self-
displaying executable programs that can be further compressed
with the fabulous LZEXE.
The image must be a 2 or 4 color CGA, 2 or 16 color EGA or VGA,
or a 256 color MCGA (320 x 200) picture.
Usage:
pcxlife filename [alternate exe compressor]
for example, pcxlife (on its own for help)
or pcxlife test.pcx (convert test.pcx to test.exe)
or pcxlife test (same thing, assumes .pcx)
or pcxlife test pklite.exe (use pklite to
compress .exe file
instead of lzexe)
The programs created by PCXLIFE check to see if the appropriate
hardware is available before trying to display the image.
Usage of an executable file compressor program, such as the
public domain (free) program LZEXE, is highly recommended.
The maximum size of the .PCX file must not be more than 64,000
bytes.
Images smaller than the screen will be centred.

This program is Shareware and costs $10 (send to me at the above

books - cost $30).
